one who possesses a rational, volitional consciousness that experiences the world directly through his perceptual faculty and relates to the world conceptually through his ability to abstract – to abstract from concretes as well as from former abstractions. }

   This is our starting point for psycHHology’s 4 cardinal virtures: Self Awareness, Self Acceptance, Self Assertion and Self Responsibility with the latter semi-automatically taken care of when you succeed in taking care of the formers. By semi-automatic I mean you still have to choose to periodically recite--with thoughtfullness, emotion and energy--this mantra: I see what I see and I know what I know.

   I see what I see and I know what I know.

   Once you master the Art of Self Awareness, you can then aim at Self Acceptance.

   Or, once you master the Art of Self Acceptance, you can then aim at Self Assertion.

   Or, once you master the Art of Self Assertion, you can then conclude: I am Self Responsible.

   Or, once you conclude you are self responsible, you can then know your job from there forward is to maintain and grow more of the same.
